陀螺定向测量（gyrostatic orientation survey）是用陀螺经纬仪测定某控制网边的陀螺方位角，并经换算获得此边真方位角的测量工作。常用于定向连接测量。陀螺方位角，是从陀螺仪子午线（测站上通过假想的陀螺轴稳定位置的子午面，即陀螺仪子午面与地平面的交线）北方向顺时针量至某定向边的水平角。
