阿尔及利亚人口占多数的民族。又称阿尔及利亚阿拉伯人。有1460万人(1978)，占全国人口83%。主要分布在北部沿海与阿特拉斯山脉之间。另有少数分布在突尼斯、摩洛哥和其他国家。
