镀铝钢板在碳钢表面镀有一层纯铝或含5%~10%硅的铝硅合金的钢板。镀铝的方法有：热镀法、电泳法和真空蒸镀法，其中热镀法应用最广。镀铝钢板具有良好的抗高温氧化性，在450℃下较长时间不变色，最高使用温度可达到750℃。还有良好的耐大气腐蚀性，尤其具有抗SO2、H2S、CO2等气体的腐蚀。耐蚀性是镀锌钢板的3~6倍，主要用于汽车的排气系统、耐热器具、饮料罐等。
