钢筋的锚固是指钢筋被包裹在混凝土中，增强混凝土与钢筋的连接，使建筑物更牢固，目的是使两者能共同工作以承担各种应力（协同工作承受来自各种荷载产生压力、拉力以及弯矩、扭矩等）。 它按一定的方向用钻孔穿透弱面深入到完整岩体内,插入预应力锚索(钢筋)，然后用水泥将孔固结起来，形成具有一定抗拉能力的结构。此外,对拱坝坝肩不稳定岩体的处理,还可以采用其他支挡办法,如抗滑桩、挡土墙、支撑柱等。还应特别强调,地下水往往是导致基础失稳的主要因素，在设置工程处理措施时,应充分考虑到防渗排水的作用。
