钱中文，男，汉族，江苏无锡人，1932 年11月出生。1955年毕业于中国人民大学俄语系，1959年肄业于莫斯科大学俄罗斯语言文学系研究生系。现为中国社会科学院荣誉学部委员、文学研究所研究员、研究生院教授、博导、中国中外文艺理论学会会长、中国作家协会全国委员会荣誉委员。
