钩刀，又名割草刀、钩草廉。形制为弯月形刀具，短内弯刃。刃长30厘米—50厘米不等，锋利，前尖利，外弯为刀背，刀背厚重。最早出现于秦代。类属于刀具、兵器、农具。镰刀的一种。用以砍柴等。
