钢筋混凝土预制桩是指在预制构件加工厂预制,经过养护,达到设计强度后,运至施工现场,用打桩机打入土中,然后在桩的顶部浇筑承台梁(板)基础。钢筋混凝土预制桩采用的混凝土标号不应低于300#。桩的受力钢筋直径不应小于12毫米,一般配置4~8根主筋。为了抵抗锤击和穿越土层,在桩顶和桩尖部分应加密箍筋,并把桩尖处的主筋弯起,并焊在一根芯棒上。钢筋混凝土预制桩具有制作简便、强度高、钢度大和可制成各种截面形状的优点,是被广泛地采用的一种桩型。
