钢竹，Phyllostachys viridis，禾本科刚竹属植物。常植于庭园曲径、池畔、溪涧、山坡、石际、天井、景门，以至室内盆栽观赏。其性能是竹秆通直、壁厚、节细、坚韧、光滑、弹性强、密度大、耐腐蚀、不易虫蛀、燃烧后竹灰洁白易碎不成炭等特点。
