钢印是用钢板刻制的上下阴阳两块印模组成的印鉴。通常盖在专用的文书或照片上，无颜色，只有凸起的文字、数字和图记。在钢铁企业里，用于做成品板材或棒材标记之用。一般为0~9十个阿拉伯数字组成。多数由特殊工具钢或硬质合金钢，经过特殊的热处理工艺加工而成。
