钒:元素符号 V,银灰色金属,在元素周期表中属VB族,原子序数23,原子量50.9414,体心立方晶体,常见化合价为+5、+4、+3、+2。钒的熔点很高,常与铌、钽、钨、钼并称为难熔金属。有延展性,质坚硬,无磁性。具有耐盐酸和硫酸的本领,并且在耐气、耐盐、耐水腐蚀的性能要比大多数不锈钢好。室温下致密状态的金属钒较稳定,不与空气、水和碱作用,也能耐稀酸。
