重茬也叫连作，是指在一块田地上连续栽种同一种作物。不少作物如豆科植物、瓜类、蔬菜、草莓及某些中草药等，都因重茬造成植物根部病菌，导致植物枯萎病，叶枯病，病毒病等危害，严重影响作物生长。
