《醒狮》是由东方电影制作有限公司和美亚娱乐有限公司出品的一部喜剧电影。由吴镇宇自导自演，黄秋生、毛舜筠、郑中基、林子聪等出演。 影片从“舞狮”这一草根表演为点，影射了香港现今社会的种种恶俗风气。讲述了几名不务正业的青年，在一次舞狮活动中瞬间“草根变精英”，社会回报给“精英”们的物质上的强烈刺激，导致了这几个年轻人为了金钱和利益开始自我膨胀和唯利是图，最后落得名利两空。
我希望“醒狮杯”能有越来越多的国际选手参赛，成为一个交流想法的国际性论坛。
