返本道家哲学。语出:(1).复归本真。唐 刘肃 《大唐新语·匡赞》：“方弘风纬俗，返本于上古之初。”《镜花缘》第六回：“日后缘满，还是另须苦修，方能返本；还是刚弃红尘，就能还原。到了那时，纔知我的道行并非浅薄之辈哩。”(2).指恢复原来状态。鲁迅 《坟·摩罗诗力说》：“进化或可停，而生物不能返本。”(3).翻本，赢回赌本。《官场现形记》第二一回：“ 黄三溜子 急於返本，嫌人家押的少，还说人家赢钱的都藏着不肯拿出来。”
