轮胎钢丝是指镶在橡胶轮胎边缘的钢丝，又称胎圈用钢丝或轮胎边缘钢丝。一般指用于制造汽车、摩托车、拖拉机及飞机等轮胎外胎边缘钢丝束的钢丝，产品的直径为0．96、1．0、1．3、1．4和1．65mm，直径1mm的是主要产品。另一类是用于制造自行车等硬边车胎的边缘钢丝，其直径为2．1mm。轮胎钢丝具有高的抗拉强度、韧性和良好的抗疲劳性能。
