转移癌是指肿瘤细胞从原发部位侵入淋巴管，血管或其他途经被带到它处继续生长，形成与原发部位肿瘤相同类型的肿瘤，这个过程称为转移，所形成的肿瘤成为转移瘤或转移癌。转移是恶性肿瘤的特征。 常见的转移途径包括淋巴道转移、血管转移，种植性转移等。一旦癌细胞侵入淋巴管，可以脱落形成栓子，或在管内增殖、形成连续性肿物，但多数是通过淋巴管进入区域淋巴结而形成淋巴结内转移。
