转炉吹炼任务是往低冰镍中鼓入空气,加入适当的熔剂(石英),将低冰镍中 的Fe以及S和其它杂质除去,使铜、镍进一步富集成含铜镍约70%~75%,含硫18%~24%的高镍硫。转炉吹炼是一个强烈的自热过程,维持反应所需的热量依靠铜锍吹炼过程中铁、硫的氧化及造渣反应来供给。
