资源教室方案一词系译自resource room Program ，或称资源方案( resource Program，省略room ) ， 又称资源教室( resourceroom，省略Program ) ，国外更有称之为Pull-out Program 或set aside者。台湾地区设置此类特殊教育措施时，为符合教育行政的要求，一律称之为资源班。虽然名称不一，但其内涵却是相同。
