诈病是为了达到某种目的，身体健康的人假装患有某种疾病。广义的诈病包括夸大病情，指某人虽然患有某种疾病或某处受伤，但故意夸大原有病情，表现有过多的主诉症状和夸大体征。在法医学鉴定中，夸大病情较诈病更为多见。我国汉唐时期己有关于诈病的记载。诈病的表现有诈盲、诈聋、诈瘫、伪装精神病等。
