计算网络（MCN，Mobile Computing Network）或称为游牧计算网络，是指主机或局域网可在网中漫游的计算机网络，它支持包括通话、寻呼、高速数据、视像在内的多媒体业务，是实现个人通信的途径之一。它具有如下特点：首先是计算机网络，即必须实现资源共享，且具有各种网络服务功能；其次，可允许计算机在网络中的移动，并且移动对于用户必须是透明的。移动计算网络是最近出现的概念，由于 Internet 的普及使用，所以目前关于移动计算网络的研究主要是基于 Internet 展开的。
