角化过度（hyperkeratosis）是指黏膜或皮肤的角质层过度增厚，可发生于人或动物的任何部位，常因接触或摄入某种化学物质而致，亦可由病毒引起。角化过度可分为两种：①过度正角化：细胞界限不清，细胞核消失，形成角化物，伴有粒层增厚且透明角质颗粒异常明显；②过度不全角化：增厚的角化层中尚见残留的细胞核，粒层不明显。其临床表现因发生部位不同而有所差异。
角化异常:(1) 角化过度(Hyperkeratosis) : 指角质层过度增厚但有时角质层过厚，并非由于角化过度，而是因角质脱落较慢，堆积于皮肤表面的结果。
