清初高僧―—行森（1614～1677）， 字慈翁，号茆溪，俗姓黎,惠州博罗人，明末刑部侍郎黎绍爵之子。他少年通内外使，随父进京以恩荫入国学。后随罗浮华首台道独禅师出家，再往浙江云门寺参学于雪桥圆信，赴湖州报恩寺谒玉琳通琇禅师，成为临济宗（禅宗内五宗派之一）传人。清顺治十七年（1660），行森随师应诏入宫说法，为顺治皇帝剃度出家。顺治不久病逝，行森又为顺治皇帝遗体进行火化。康熙十六年（1677），行森迁化于杭州华严寺，终年64岁。
