行什是古代中国建筑屋顶所用装饰物。在中国古建筑的岔脊上，都装饰有一些小兽，一共有九个，只有太和殿有十个，其中最后一个就是行什。行什一种带翅膀猴，背生双翼，手持金刚宝杵，传说宝杵具有降魔的功效。是一种带翅膀猴面孔的人像，是压尾兽。因排行第十，故名“行什“。颇像传说中的雷公，大概是防雷的象征。古代中国建筑上的脊兽，可见的行什仅一处，就是在太和殿上，把这些小兽依次排列在高高的檐角处，象征着消灾灭祸，逢凶化吉，还含有剪除邪恶、主持公道之意。
