In this paper, a method based on quasi-steady lifting line theory for the prediction of performance characteristics of a propeller working in a non-uniform wake field is presented.

The Euler equations of incompressible and inviscid fluid are used for control equations of the stern flow field, and the propeller is computed by lift line theory.
