两侧肾相融合称为融合肾有各种类型,如蹄铁形肾,盘形肾、乙状肾、块肾等。其中最常见的是蹄铁形肾,其他都很少见。 蹄铁形肾:两侧肾的一极可在脊柱之前或腹部大血管之前相互融合。约90%病例是下极互相融合,称蹄铁形肾,其融合的部分名为峡部,为肾实质或结绨组织所构成,多位于腹主动脉及下腔静脉之前,腹主动脉分叉之上。肾较正常位置低,肾盂因受融合的限制,不能正常旋转。输尿管则越过融合的峡部前面下行,由于引流不畅,易并发积水、感染或结石。
