蜘蛛雷是一种用飞机撒下的特种地雷，由于其弹体上伸出8条细长的尼龙“触角”，好像一只大蜘蛛，应此称为蜘蛛雷。蜘蛛雷里面装有TNT和铝粉混合而成的炸药，并配有触发引信和自毁装置。弹体外壳用合金钢制成，表面斜置条状棱柱，以便在降落时按预定触点部位接地。
如果蜘蛛雷还保留在游戏里，那么就会有悬浮单位。
