虚热证，证名。正气不足所致的热证。因气血阴液不足，或邪盛伤正所致的热证。有阴虚、阳虚、气虚、血虚之分。证见心烦不眠，口燥咽干，潮热盗汗，大便秘结，舌红，脉细数等。治宜养阴清热，或甘温除热，用四物汤、青蒿鳖甲汤、大补阴丸、当归补血汤或补中益气汤等方。
