喘即气喘、喘息。喘证是以呼吸困难、甚至张口抬肩，鼻翼扇动，不能平卧为临床特征的病症。明代张景岳把喘证分为实喘和虚喘。《景岳全书·喘促》：“实喘者有邪，邪气实也；虚喘者无邪，元气虚也。”《临证指南医案·喘》提出：“在肺为实，在肾为虚。”
目的观察平喘胶囊对小鼠虚喘症的治疗作用。
Objective Observation of asthma capsules in the treatment of mice asthenia Diseases.
主治：久咳虚喘，胸腔气闷，体重乏力，头晕目眩，神疲畏寒，耳鸣失眠。
Indication: Chronic cough and panting, discomfort on chest. Lethargic, giddiness, tiredness, fatigue and intolerance of cold, tinnitus and insomnia.
玉具有清音哑，止烦渴，定虚喘，安神明，滋养五脏六腑的作用，是具有清纯之气的良药，可避秽浊之病气。
