今名：蒌蒿 多年生草本，植株具香气，下半部木质化 叶纸质，茎下部之叶宽卵形，长8-12厘米，宽6-10厘米，呈掌状，3-5裂，全缘或全不分裂；表面绿色，背面密被灰白色绒毛；叶缘有细锯齿、上部叶指状3或2深刻，或不分裂；缘具梳锯齿。头状花序排成伸长之圆锥花序。分布于东北、华北、华中、华南各省，多生于低海拔地区之河岸边与沼泽地带，可在水中生长，或见于森林中、山坡和道路旁。
