脑挫伤是受伤局部脑皮 质形状保留而实质出血和（或）肿胀的一种 闭合性脑损伤。当头部遭受钝器打击或交通 事故、高坠，头部与其他物体碰撞时，头部 作直线加速、直线减速或旋转运动，此时脑 组织与颅骨的运动速度不一致；或与粗糙不 平的颅骨内板碰撞；或在高低凹凸的颅底骨板上滑动；或因脑各部的运动速度不一致而产生剪切力；或受骨折区的直接损伤或脑疝的挤压，脑实质都可能发生挫（裂）伤。
