腓骨perone系下肢小腿长骨之一。较细，在小腿外侧。上端膨大称腓骨小头，其内上方有关节面与胫骨的腓关节面相接关节。下端较膨大称外踝，其内侧面有平坦的外踝关节面，参与构成踝关节。此骨细长，起辅助、支持作用。此骨损伤较多见，单纯腓骨骨折对下肢负重影响较小，但胫腓骨间神经、血管较多，易同时受损害，故处理仍应十分注意。
