胃寒，为中医名词术语。是指脾胃阳气虚衰，过食生冷，或寒邪直中所致阴寒凝滞胃腑的证候。症见胃脘疼痛，得温痛减，呕吐清涎，口淡喜热饮，食不化，舌淡苔白滑，脉沉迟。治宜温胃散寒。 临床上胃痛之症，中医多称之为“胃脘痛”，现代医学所说的胃溃疡、十二指肠溃疡，慢性胃炎、胃下垂，胃神经官能症及胃黏膜脱垂等疾患多属中医“胃脘痛”的范畴。中医一般分为胃寒、胃热等证型。
