胃肠神经官能症是以胃肠运动功能紊乱为主的胃肠综合症。临床表现主要有梅核气、神经性呕吐、神经性嗳气、神经性厌食与肠易激综合征，常伴有失眠、焦虑、注意力涣散、健忘、神经过敏、头痛等其他功能性症状。多有精神因素的背景,而在生物化学和病理解剖学方面则无器质性改变。本症不包括其他系统疾病引起的胃肠道功能紊乱。中医学对本病的记载散见于郁证、百合病、梅核气、嗳气、呕吐、胃脘痛、纳呆、腹胀、腹痛、泄泻、便秘等疾病。起病大多缓慢,病程可积年累月,发病呈持续性或反复发作。
