肺表面活性物质指由肺泡Ⅱ型上皮细胞分泌的一种复杂的脂蛋白，其主要成分为二棕榈酰卵磷脂（DPPC）和表面活性物质结合蛋白（SP）,前者约占60%以上，后者约占10%。分布于肺泡液体分子层表面，具有降低肺泡表面张力的作用，能维持大小肺泡容量的相对稳定，阻止肺泡毛细血管中液体向肺泡内滤出。
