肺大疱是指由于各种原因导致肺泡腔内压力升高，肺泡壁破裂，互相融合，在肺组织形成的含气囊腔。肺大疱有先天性和后天性两种。先天性多见于小儿，因先天性支气管发育异常，黏膜皱襞呈瓣膜状，软骨发育不良，引起活瓣作用所致。后天性多见于成人、老年患者，常伴慢性支气管炎和肺气肿。目前绝大多数的肺大疱手术均可在电视胸腔镜下完成，2/3的患者术后症状明显改善。
