耳蜗神经（cochlear nerve）是指听神经分支。听觉的固有部分，起源于螺旋神经节，终于延脑与桥脑背方交界处的耳蜗神经核，节内为双极神经细胞传导柯蒂氏器接受到的听觉信息至听觉皮层区。其周围突（即细胞的树突）以放射状发出神经纤维，分布于螺旋器。在螺旋器内，神经纤维主要分成两组，一组到达内毛细胞，另一组至外毛细胞。双极神经细胞的中枢突即轴突，自神经节细胞发出后，经蜗轴纵管，穿内耳道底部的螺旋状孔，至内耳道，与前庭神经纤维合并为听神经。
