羚羊角粉是牛科动物赛加羚羊Saiga tatarica Linnaeus 的角，化学成份是磷酸钙、角蛋白及不溶性无机盐等，其中角蛋白含量最多。羚羊角的角蛋白含硫只有1.2%，是角蛋白中含硫最少者之一。
结果羚羊角粉与水牛角粉显微特征差异显著，可用于羚羊感冒胶囊真伪鉴别。
