网状聚合物是指高分子链之间通过化学键相连接形成的三维网状结构的大分子，即所谓的交联结构。由于网状高分子链之间已经通过化学键接了起来，因而它具有不溶不熔的特点。基于这一特点，网状聚合物的成形只能在形成交联结构之前，一经形成交联结构，形状就不能改变。但同时也给网状聚合物带来于性能上的优点，如耐热、耐溶剂、尺寸稳定等。
