绒绣（Woolen Needlepoint Tapestry），亦名“绒线绣”。是一种在特制的网眼麻布上，用彩色羊毛绒线绣出各种画面和图案的刺绣。中国绒绣主要产于上海、辽宁朝阳 和山东烟台。 这种绣法好像不是绒绣，理论上和绒一点关系没有。只因绣线是毛线而叫绒绣不太贴切，绒线绣可以。绒绣应该是跺针绣或是掇针绣，然后剪绒，因表面堆积成绒状。类似地毯一样。上个世纪6,7十年代，风靡全国。
