纵向电导(longitudinal conductance)是指电流沿层面方向流过某一电性层时,该层对电流导通能力的大小。它与岩层厚度成正比,与岩层电阻率成反比。用符号s表示,s=h/p。在多层情况下,如各层厚度分别为h1、h2、h3…hi,电阻率为ρ1、ρ2、ρ3…ρi,岩层总厚度为H,岩层组的平均纵向电阻率为ρl,则总的纵向电导当电性标准层电阻率无限大时,电测深曲线尾部呈45°渐近线,标准层以上各层总的纵向电导值可从曲线尾部渐近线求出。电导的单位为西(门子),单位符号为s。
