纵向电导（longitudinal conductance）是指电流沿层面方向流过某一电性层时，该层对电流导通能力的大小。它与岩层厚度成正比，与岩层电阻率成反比。用符号s表示，s=h/p。在多层情况下，如各层厚度分别为h1、h2、h3…hi，电阻率为ρ1、ρ2、ρ3…ρi，岩层总厚度为H，岩层组的平均纵向电阻率为ρl，则总的纵向电导当电性标准层电阻率无限大时，电测深曲线尾部呈45°渐近线，标准层以上各层总的纵向电导值可从曲线尾部渐近线求出。电导的单位为西（门子），单位符号为s。
