细胞膜(cell membrane)又称细胞质膜（plasma membrane）。细胞表面的一层薄膜。有时称为细胞外膜或原生质膜。细胞膜的化学组成基本相同，主要由脂类、蛋白质和糖类组成。各成分含量分别约为50%、40%、2%~10%。其中，脂质的主要成分为磷脂和胆固醇。此外，细胞膜中还含有少量水分、无机盐与金属离子等。
