佛教术语，梵语 dviti^ya-dhya^na，巴利语 dutiya-jha^na。新译作第二静虑。为四禅之第二。具有内等净、喜、乐、心一境性等四支。于此禅定，远离初禅的寻、伺心理活动，于内心信相明净，故称“内等净”；由于禅定之故，住于喜与乐之情态，故称“定生喜乐”。
