“空气树”是一座十边形的钢结构建筑，紧挨竹屋而建，屋顶安装有太阳能板，可以实现能源自给。建筑内运用环境技术，安装自动开启的百叶窗和直径为7米的引风机，来营造一个气候控制空间，为人们提供舒适的环境。参观者可以在这样一个遮阳、防热的开放空间休憩，并更多地了解马德里。
