空化噪声是指在螺旋桨的周边附近产生涡流以及高声强的发射情况下,水流产生局部压力的降低,从而出现空化,当空化气泡破裂时,会产生脉冲式的噪声,即所谓“空化噪声”,它有连续谱。对于任何高速的舰船,发生空化现象后,空化往往是主要的噪声源。发射器表面会被腐蚀,引起声功率损失,指向性图变坏。
