程小青（1893年6月21日—1976年10月12日）原名程青心，又名程辉斋，是中国现代侦探小说“第一人”，是“东方的柯南道尔”，他笔下的霍桑，是中国版的福尔摩斯。本书收入其作品有《险婚姻》、《血手印》、《断指团》等中短篇小说10部。这10部小说均以侦探故事为题材，内容丰富，故事情节曲折，人物刻画生动，是中国现代侦探小说中的杰出作品。
