《科技传播》是由中国科学技术协会主管、中国科技新闻学会主办的一本面向科技界、学术界、传播界以及大专院校师生等广大读者的国内外公开发行的国家级跨学科的科技类学术刊物。 科技传播学是研究人类一切科技传播行为和过程发生、发展的规律及科技传播与人和社会的关系的学科。它是从传播的社会功能出发，利用行为科学的研究方法，以系统论、信息论和控制论为基本理论，以科技信息的交流与传播为研究对象的一门新兴边缘交叉学科。科技传播是人类社会科学与技术系统得以产生和存续的基本前提，是科技发展的基本条件，是科技工作者进行科学发现和技术发明的基本支持。科技传播是科技和社会的“血液循环系统”，是人类社会进步的阶梯。
