神经分泌细胞是指神经细胞的一种。有机体体内分泌神经激素的特化细胞。在结构上属于神经系统而非内分泌系统，但具有内分泌细胞样的活性，能分泌生物活性物质——神经激素，通过血液循环或局部扩散，调节其他器官的功能。仍保留神经细胞的结构和功能特点，也分胞体和突起，并具有尼氏体。由于与其他细胞有突触联系，也能兴奋和传导动作电位。
