硫丹，即（1,4,5,6,7,7-六氯-9,9,10-三降冰片-5-烯-2，3-亚基双甲撑）亚硫酸酯，主要用作农用杀虫剂。由于其剧毒性、生物蓄积性和内分泌干扰素作用，已经在50多个国家被禁止使用，主要包括欧盟、一些亚洲和西非国家。由于硫丹对环境的威胁，已被考虑纳入斯德哥尔摩公约中禁止在全球使用和制造，并于2011年4月25日至4月29日在瑞士日内瓦召开的“关于持久性有机污染物(简称POPs)的斯德哥尔摩公约第五次缔约方大会”中被正式纳入公约中。（化学式见概述图）
