岩体中具有一定宽度和相当延伸长度的非单一裂缝组成的破碎条带地段。使岩体丧失其连续性和完整性。由断层所生成的破碎带含有断层角砾岩、碎裂岩、糜棱岩或断层泥等。由斜坡破坏生成的破碎带也可含有角砾、碎裂块石和糜棱状粘土等。由破碎带组成的滑带为滑坡体的滑动位置。
