相关课程一译“关联课程”。指两门或两门以上的课程在教学中加强联系，但并不打破原来的学科界限。例如，将历史和文学相联系，在教学中采用小队教学形式，让学生在学习各年代的历史知识的同时，学习该时期的文学作品。其联系方式多种多样，基本可归为三类。（1）事实性相关。如在历史与地理教学中，历史事件的描述以地理知识作为背景。（2）描述性相关。当两门或两门以上的学科具有共同的概括性结论时，一般运用描述性相关加以综合。如心理学原理可解释许多社会现象，可与历史等各种社会科学发生描述性相关。（3）价值性相关。与描述性相关的主要区别是以社会道德价值为原则而非因果联系。相关课程要求有一定的教学形式与之相配合。
