皱胃 是反刍动物的第四个胃，基本构造和功能相当于单胃动物的胃。与前胃不同的是，皱胃附有消化腺，可分泌胃酸及消化酶，具备真正意义上的消化功能，因此又被称为 真胃、腺胃。 皱胃能消化食物中的蛋白质和脂肪，同时瘤胃和网胃中寄生的微生物进入皱胃后，也会被消化成蛋白质，为机体提供更多的营养。
